The following horses are for sale & available to view at Pembroke Stud...

ShockoeSlip - $3,750

Jet Black tb mare, 8 yr old. Unmeasured but approx 15.2. Now in full work and ready to get out and compete. Riding photos taken Oct and Nov 2009. Being schooled by dressage rider and going very nicely. Good conformation, clean legs and no vices. Race name 'Shockoe Slip' - by Sandtrap. Has won at the races and would be great prospect to breed with. Great to catch, drench, shoe, float, tie & float (truck or trailer, in company or alone) etc. Serious enquiries only and no beginners please.

PembrokeFalcon - $1950

Pembroke Falcon - Steel grey mare stationbred mare for sale. Bred by Mount Linton Station. Reason for selling is that we are reducing horse numbers due to our growing family.

Has won led sporthorse conformation classes. Has showjumped however we purchased her as a broodmare and have not use her to ride. See 2nd last photo.

She is a great broodmare, good mother and was fine when running with the stallion, in foal first time out.  Mare is 8yr old and 15.2hh. She is straight moving with good conformation.

Has bred one lovely filly foal (Pembroke Kittyhawk - by our Irish Sporthorse stallion - Pembroke Corsair - see last photo), she is now a yearling. See photos of bay filly in paddock, more photos of her being handled to come shortly. Correct, good type, very friendly nature, can't get rid of her when you go into her paddock. Good to handle, lead etc.

Pembroke Falcon is currently empty and price reflects this. Can be sold in foal to our stallion Pembroke Corsair to produce a full sister/brother to Pembroke Kittyhawk. Price in foal by negotiation.

Pembroke Apache - $5000     SOLD

Pembroke Apache -2 year old - Irish Sporthorse x Clydesdale gelding born Nov 2007 Est height at maturity 15.2 to 16hh.

By *Pembroke Corsair our Irish Sport Horse stallion Pembroke Corsair. Apache is out of a clydesdale x stationbred mare.

Very strong build, correct. His movement is very balanced with flowing paces. He will excel as a showjumper, hunter or eventer etc. Very friendly nature and well handled, but not spoilt.

Pembroke Piper   - CURRENTLY BEING BROKEN IN

Pembroke Piper -Bay 2 year old filly currently being started - Irish Sporthorse (out of a grey tb mare) filly born Nov 2007 Est height at maturity 15.2 - Piper will make fantastic eventer, endurance horse... she'll be a great all rounder.

Pembroke.Mig  -  NEXT TO BE BROKEN IN SUMMER 2009

2 year old due to be broken in Spring 2009 - Irish x TB filly foal by by Pembroke Corsair* out of De la Creme (a TB mare by Star of Luskin, the sire of top eventers. Bryce Newman's SPRINGBOK (sold to US), Cecile Rold's EURO (sold to William Fox-Pitt) both by Star of Luskin and Matthew Grayling's star, RED HOT ROCKET, out of a Star of Luskin mare.)

Pembroke Mig is correct, has a very friendly nature and well handled, but not spoilt. Will lead, tie, float.

Pembroke Spruce Goose  

2 year old due to be broken in Spring 2009 -  est height at maturity 16.2hh +. This stunning sport horse colt by *Pembroke Corsair (see 5th photo) is now available for sale. This foal has shown pure class right from the moment he was born and his dam is rightly proud of her mirror image foal.

Out of a fabulous Irish mare - 16.2hh (by Kingsway Diamond) who jumped successfully to 1.3m. Foal born Nov 2007.

Liver chestnut with a star, this fellow has a gorgeous refined head with lovely big eyes, tall, scopey conformation and a very worldly, inquisitive temperament with lots of character. Very friendly nature and well handled, but not spoilt. Will lead, tie, float.

Pembroke Spruce Goose is already showing excellent elevated movement, is correct and displays his parents jumping technique and trainability are sure to shine through as he matures.
